Seth and Heather's marriage is slowly disintegrating. At the center of it all is their child, Pete: a boy who is a plant and lives in his mother's garden. This feverish play examines the agitated resignation of white Americans still committed to a Dream that is outmoded, discriminatory, and apathetic.
